13 December 2024 – On 13th December 2024, Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, attended the Grand Opening Ceremony of EDA Malaysia Industries Sdn Bhd in the Jasin Industrial Area.
The event was officiated by Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusoh, Chief Minister of Melaka, alongside Mr. Fortunato Palella, Founder and President of EDA Industries.
EDA Malaysia Industries has chosen Melaka as its operational hub, with an investment exceeding RM80 million, making it the second Italian company and the largest Italian investor in the state. This milestone further solidifies Melaka as a thriving hub for global investment and innovation.
The ceremony was also graced by distinguished guests, including YB Datuk Azhar Arshad, State Secretary of Melaka,YB Datuk Khaidhirah, Deputy EXCO for Investment, Industry, and TVET Development, YBhg. Datuk Mohd Yusof bin Abu Bakar, CEO of Melaka Corporation, Mr.Jaibalan Harirajan, Director of MIDA Melaka.
