It was truly an honor to witness the grand launch of the EVPower Charging Hub in Melaka today. The collaborative effort between Perbadanan Teknologi Hijau Melaka (PTHM) and EV Power Sdn Bhd was nothing short of inspiring.
Under the auspices of YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusoh, the Chief Minister of Melaka, the ceremony took place at The Concept Hotel, Jalan Gajah Berang, Melaka, symbolizing Melaka’s unwavering commitment to environmental preservation and the advancement of low-carbon mobility.
During his address, YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusoh emphasized the crucial shift towards low-carbon transportation solutions, echoing the sentiments of building a sustainable future for generations to come. As he aptly put it, ‘Our commitment today sets the stage for a greener tomorrow.’
With approximately 33 electric vehicle charging stations already in operation across Melaka, there’s a clear trajectory towards expansion. These facilities are set to proliferate across major highway corridors, public parking spaces, and tourist hubs, indicating Melaka’s proactive stance in embracing eco-friendly initiatives.
