In collaboration with Hong Leong Bank

29 November 2024 – In collaboration with Hong Leong Bank, Invest Melaka participated in a workshop held at The Pines Hotel Ballroom on 29 November 2024. The workshop was part of the HLB ESG Readiness Program – Greening The Supply Chain, which targeted local HLB SME and commercial banking clients. The event aimed to empower SMEs with ESG practices as part of the global supply chain. Key topics covered in the program included the Global Supply Chain, Green Financing, and ESG Strategies and Execution.

Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, delivered the opening remarks at the event. Also present were Chow Sheng Wai, Chief Sustainability Officer of HLB; Richard Baker, Director of Sustainability and Climate Change at PWC; Saw Wei Ta, Senior Manager of Sustainability & Strategy at HLB; Margie Ong, CEO of Thought in Gear; and Nelson Samuel Wilson, Director of the Green Technology Division at MIDA.
