On 27 February 2024, YBhg. Dato’ Anis Rizana Binti Mohd Zainudin, Director General of Customs, along with YB Datuk Khaidirah Abu Zahar, Deputy Exco for Economic Planning, Finance, Land Affairs, Non-Government Agencies, Investment, Industry, and Development of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Mr Jaibalan Harirajan, MIDA Melaka Director, and Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, toured the customs office building in the Batu Berendam Free Industrial Zone.
The discussions revolved around potential improvements that could be spearheaded by both the State and Federal Governments to uplift the standards of our customs infrastructure.
