7 January 2025 – Invest Melaka Berhad team, led by CEO Datuk Ginie Lim, attended the MCorp Group Gala Night at Melaka Hatten Hotel on 7th January. The dinner was joined by 11 subsidiaries of MCorp. The event was graced by the presence of Melaka Chief Minister YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusoh, Melaka State Secretary YB Datuk Azhar bin Haji Arshad, Deputy Exco YB Datuk Khaidhirah Abu Zahar, and CEO of Melaka Corporation Datuk Mohd Yusof bin Abu Bakar.
Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusoh emphasized that Melaka successfully achieved its target of attracting RM5 billion in investments last year, thanks to the ongoing commitment of relevant departments and agencies.
The Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, also highlighted that through the efforts of Melaka Corporation (MCorp), the state recorded an impressive total investment value, with RM0.8 billion in foreign investments and RM4.2 billion in domestic investments.
This achievement in the third quarter of last year is a remarkable success, as it reflects the confidence of foreign investors in the economic potential and development of the state.
